Most Americans think that “In God We Trust” was designed by our founding fathers. Actually it was introduced many years after all our founding fathers were dead, in 1892 it was placed on the 2 cent piece. In 1954, the religious organization Knights of Columbus along with Billy Graham made a proposition to Congress to place it on our paper money.
