Yes – Hitchens was right –

“What can be asserted without proof can be dismissed without proof.”

This is a plain and simple message that all religions which have followers must rely their faith alone.  There is no evidence that any god or gods exist, and never have.  It’s an assertion that claims a supernatural deity exists, and although the majority of people in the world do believe in a god, that does not make the existence of said god true.  Since the religions have different and often contradictory doctrines, no one can be right without condemning all the others,  The probability is much better that non of the religions of the world are true.  It’s an obsolete attempt to try and explain the world while all the while science is explaining how the world actually works with real evidence. Reject superstitions.  Have confidence in the natural world.
