There are two ways to sign up for BYS.
If you are local to southern California, go to our Meetup site HERE. We request a voluntary $20 membership fee which will include your first monthly meeting and a dinner. You are more than welcome to come to any of our events just to ‘check it out’ without paying the membership fee.
We also have a Los Angeles Meetup BYS chapter and a south Orange County Meetup chapter as well. You may join any or all of the Meetup groups if you wish. You will be able to see each of the groups by searching Meetup.com for Backyard Skeptics.
If you are outside the southern California area, you may still join our meetup group, but since you might not be attending our local events, you still can receive our free bi-monthly Secular Gazette newsletter which includes other events happening all around the country. Although the Secular Gazette is free, we’d appreciate a $.99 donation for each issue. 100% of your donation will be used for our non-profit parent organization, Freethought Alliance.
