Backyard Skeptics is part of the Freethought Alliance – a coalition of 24 local groups in and around Orange County CA. Freethought Alliance is a 501(c)(3) organization and all of your donations can be used to reduce your tax burden.

There are several ways to contribute:
1. Subscribe to our Secular Gazette e-newsletter, published by our parent organization Freethought Alliance for only $.99 every two weeks or $5.99 quarterly. To subscribe, click on the Secular Gazette page above.
2. Click the donate button to make a donation amount of your choosing. You do not need to have a PayPal account to pay with a credit card.
Your donation(s) will be sent to our parent organization Freethought Alliance. Since we are a 501(c)(3) organization, all funds collected are tax exempt and will support our efforts to make our nation more secular.
3. Join Backyard Skeptics Meetup group for only $4 a month or $40 a year

Our purpose is to make this world a better place by promoting reason, science and secular values.
Our goal is to have a brick-and-mortar Secular Center for Orange County, CA for promoting secular values and keeping state and church separate in three years or less.
