Backyard Skeptics

Welcome to Backyard Skeptics, where humanists, rational thinkers, atheists and agnostics have a place to explore the world without religious dogma.

Our Goal:

To support the atheist/agnostic/skeptic and humanist community with local meetings, potluck parties, and other events.

To spread the word that skeptics and non-believers are good and moral people, and we cherish man's laws over any supernatural laws. 

Each meeting has a major 'topic' that will be announced through our email so everyone can contribute to the discussions

There is a book review section, movie review section, a 'newsbite' section, a current events section and a open discussion time.  

Occasionally, we have special guest speakers and even debates between guest speakers.  Our debates are civil, friendly and educational.

Our next Pot Luck Social: Saturday, August 16th in Fullerton!  This is a great opportunity to meet other free and rational thinkers in a social atmosphere. Sign up on our email list if you'd like to attend. 

Our meetings are at 7:00pm each fourth Wednesday or Thursday of the month in Villa Park.  Our patio meeting is private, and you must be on our confidential mailing list to attend or be invited by one of our members.

There is no cost to attend the meetings. However, we accept donations if you join us for dinner. 

Religious persons of any persuasion are invited! You'd be surprised how friendly and social a group of skeptics and atheists are!  Questions on the meaning of life? You hear some answers here.
