Backyard Skeptics

Do you believe in bigfoot?  How about lepricans?  if not, then you might be a skeptic! 

If you think all skeptics are atheists, you're very wrong. You can be a skeptic if you don't beleive in many things around us that have very little proof that they either exist, or if it is a process, that the evidence of it's claims are not true.  Take accupuncture ofr example.  Many people testify that's its claims are true, but very little scientific and non-biased studies have proven that it's not so..

Yes - there are many skeptics that are atheists as well, but there are many God-gearing Christians that are also skeptics.  We talk about all issues of skepticism at our meetings - no sacred cows here. But we respect others opinions, so come all!  - no matter what religious affiliation you might be with.  We do reserve the right to QUESTION and critically examine your beliefs, however.  Don't be intimidated. You'll leave the meeting with a new respect for skeptics. We offen have believers come so the questoins that are not fully answered by their religion can be discussed.
